The best pet clippers are A-5 Osters. They run about $200. You really don’t want the cheap ones (magnetic). You should go with a rotary. Sharp blades are important and clipper grease. I get mine sharpened a lot. Seriously I would just go with a shedding blade and combs for probably under $20 and do it daily. I’ve taught myself how to groom and shave dogs because of rescue. It’s hard work. A professional groomer is another option.
