Thank you for this video! I am new persian owner. My cat got matted because I was too nervous to really groom underneath. I ended up having her get the lion cut so i could start over. I am learning now how to groom her the right way and prevent any major matts from forming.

My cat george is a Turkish Agoria, Raggdoll,and persian mix. He has fur between his toes and I think thats so cute! I’ve never cut him but I’ve brushed him before.

Why did the groomer brush ‘downwards’ under the cats neck? I was always told to brush upwards to the chin so it doesnt pull its skin. This is the most rough groomer I have seen for a long time. Honest- I know some VIP groomers.
