I own and operate a pet sitting and dog walking business. I’d like to prepare home made dog treats in gift bags to give to pet owners. However, I don’t know where to start. I can’t prepare food for the life of me so I’m not sure how I’m going to pull off making dog treats. Do you know a good resource for easy dog treat recipes? Also, where can I find decorative (dog relevant) plastic wrap or gift bags to put the treats in?
Do you have any other creative ideas that I could use to promote my business? In other words, is there some other product that i could obtain at an affordable or low cost (because it will be in bulk) to distribute to pet owners?
I plan on giving the gifts to people in person and using it as an opportunity to introduce myself and my business. I plan to include a business card and possbily a coupon.

I never used a grooming service yet because my puppy is not old enough. But I would do A LOT of research on anywhere i would take my dog. I wouldnt want my pet to be left with someone who is not responsible enough to take good care of him. Do more research on them, if you dont mind them in your house and they give a good service, then why not?

Hello, Its still a little to early to get my pup into any real training besides what I’m teaching her, but I would like to be prepared when the time comes.
Has anyone done the training sessions at Pet Smart? If so share you experience. Was it good, horrible?

At our Petsmart, its $110 for 8 weeks. You can go to their website and find more information. I haven’t personally used them (although I most likely will when we get our new puppy), but I’ve heard good things about them. They are professional trainers and seem to really enjoy their work. My only advice is to go and meet the trainer before you sign up. I can’t stand the trainer at one of the stores, but have spoken with the trainer at another store and she’s just lovely.
I take care of pets for a living and I am going out with one of my clients. I’ve known her for a couple of years and we just started dating about a month ago. Right now, I am taking care of her 2 cats while she’s out of town. An ordinary client would owe me $150 for these services. What should I do about her?
