I have got two labrador 6 month old puppies. I rescued them from the roadside , and their mother had already been killed.
They jump on my legs and scratch so hard it makes my legs bleed! (Not much , you know , just a little) I was wondering , in which order should I train them tricks. I was thinking about doing the following: Sit , Lie Down, Bow, Shake, Wave , beg, Come , and dead dog , (lay over on her side). In which order should I train them. Please give ANY tips about training them , on any tricks , and give some more ideas! Thanks!!
I, as a trainer, always start owners out with the trick SIT. Its easily done, the dogs learn it quickly, and from there you can move on to Lay.
Wave, Shake, Beg, Play Dead are all level two courses, and should be left for when they have sitting, laying, and coming completely learned.
Petsmart has a wonderful course for dogs & puppies 8 weeks to 1 year for $109.00, its an eight week course thats GARUNTEED to have taught your dog all of the basics with a few tricks.
This site can help a little, but I really would suggest seeing a professional.

Also, with the jumping and scratching, just firmly say "no!" and push them away. IF they do it again, walk away from them, completely ignoring them. Don’t laugh, talk or anything until they stop. When they stop, give lots of praise and a treat.
