Training my pet from indoors to outdoors?

posted by admin

I have a three year old small breed whom I have trained to do her do inside (on a puppy training pad of course). But for some reason she’s a hit or miss kinda girl. I want to train her to do this outside now, Is it too late and how do I go about doing this? Help.

if the puppy training pad is working then gradually move it towards the door and outside…if she is trained to go only on the mat then chances are she will have to be trained to go off the mat aswell…moving it outside and onto the grass will encourage her to keep doing it on the mat, but outdoors…for the first few days take her out regularly to the mat and always ask if she needs to go…I used the phrase "Toilet time" for my dog and when i said this he would run to the door…eventually he didn’t need to cue but would take himself to the door and whimper to get put out…

it’s a red eared slider it’s like 5 years old or something. i am unable to care for it. so i have to give it away. how do i go about in giving it away? a lot of details please. how do i find someone who is good with pets? i want to give it to someone who cares about pets. not a store. should i give them my tank and all the equipment i just bought as well? or will they kill the turtle and use the equipment for some other pet? anyways how do i find a new owner?

Search Google for a reptile enthusiasts forum in your location.

Many people rehome or sell pets via these forums, you should be able to find a real enthusiast who will love your turtle and have the knowledge to provide him with the best care.

Good Luck!

We are getting ready to move to Savannah, Georgia. Into Hunter Army Airfield. Does anyone live near this area that has a regular pet groomer that is good. Thank You!

call some local vets or ask new neighbors for references.
Walk into the establishments as well before scheduling your animal to see if it’s clean & how groomers are handling the animals.
Some vet offices also offer grooming services.
Generally the large pet stores have groomers with little training or experience.Too many local horror stories for me.
You can also stay & watch the 1st grooming to alert them you are observing the treatment your animal is extended.
We always ask who specializes in small, large, old or snappy pooches to ensure the best experience for the animal.

I own and operate a pet sitting and dog walking business. I’d like to prepare home made dog treats in gift bags to give to pet owners. However, I don’t know where to start. I can’t prepare food for the life of me so I’m not sure how I’m going to pull off making dog treats. Do you know a good resource for easy dog treat recipes? Also, where can I find decorative (dog relevant) plastic wrap or gift bags to put the treats in?

Do you have any other creative ideas that I could use to promote my business? In other words, is there some other product that i could obtain at an affordable or low cost (because it will be in bulk) to distribute to pet owners?

I plan on giving the gifts to people in person and using it as an opportunity to introduce myself and my business. I plan to include a business card and possbily a coupon.

Well, I know a site you can go to, to make dog treats.
